"About Moi?"

You won't believe how long my original name is. My birth certificate reads Maria Elizabeth Rowena Sanchez Papaconstantopoulos. I kid you not! My mom is of Spanish heritage and my dad Greek. When I turned 18 last year I changed it to Liz Papa. My dad is a Physics professor at a university and his students call him Dr. Papa, so that's where I got the idea.

I grew up in Orange County, lived in Westminster, CA but we travelled a lot since my parents are both professors and worked at different universities for teaching and research. I grew up not having a lot of close friends but I had an imaginary friend I called Simon. Patterned after Simon LeBon of Duran Duran. OK, don't laugh, I know it's silly but Simon got me through the roughest times of my childhood. I played that song Don't Say a Prayer everynight before I went to sleep for I don't know how long. I finally got over this but I still think about it once in a while when I need a good smile and memories.
