"The Internet"

Why have I placed personal ads on the net? Plain and simple: to meet people. Have I met anyone yet? Let's just say that some of the nicest people I know, I met thru the net. Do I really have a hard time meeting people? No, I meet them everyday whether I want to or not. I'm like a vulnerable fish in a pond hounded by sick fishes and poisonous toads. The internet is the Mecca for reaching out to other fishes in other ponds and oceans. The salt water fishes are colorful and more interesting... maybe they are no different from the fishes I am swimming with right now but at least I can dream and for now I believe that they are.
